What is not covered under Product Liability Insurance?

- Contractual liability: This means that claims for breaking a contract or not meeting a contract agreement are not covered unless the responsibility still exists without the contract.
- Intended lack of care or deliberate act: Coverage is excluded if injury occurs as a result of intentionally releasing a product that is defective or dangerous
- Existing product failures: Claims involving product failure, which were already known to be a problem, fall outside what is covered.
- Damage to the product itself: The policy is not intended to attach to a third-party injury or damage, so it doesn’t cover the cost of repairing or replacing the defective product.
